Boulder Camp

My whole Garmin Chipotle team has descended upon my hometown here in Boulder for our first get together of the 2009 season. We will spend the week with meetings, planning, media and sponsor obligations, a little bit of bike riding, and some fun team bonding. We started off day 1 with a paintball battle, highlighted by the fact that my teammate Cozza played with no shirt. Of course he was a paint ball magnet then, and he sustained 39 paintball welts, 8 of which drew blood. Pretty sure nobody ever did that before. Wow.
In the evening we took all the euros out for Mexican food and margaritas. Despite a late night, it was easy to get going on our ride this morning because of the 80 degree November sunny day were having here.
I’m excited to show my teammates around my home this week. Check back for more antics and remember the team launch event Saturday night at the boulder theater!
