criterium international stage 1
March 28th, 2009 Posted in NewsOk so I thought I had finally been in every sort of race situation to guage my progress back into cycling at this point in the season, but I forgot about the looooong breakaway. So that’s what I did today in the cold, wet and windy first stage of criterium international. It started off well with winning the first king of the mountains points, but my legs became pretty toasted the next climb so I didn’t quite have it. Oh well, now with a long hard day in the bank its off to the early as hell morning stage tomorrow, complete with daylight savings time change. So I’m going to bed now. Thanks for checking in!

I look forward to catching the highlights on Versus Timmy
It is fun trying the breakaway. You never know unless you try and you will always wonder if you didn’t give it a go.

Great work Timmy! Long breaks are tough…and I hate the wind no matter the situation!!

Great job on the breakaway on the 1st stage of Criterium International! We saw you on Versus and you looked strong. What a thrill to hear your name and see you racing. Is anyone from your Team racing in Bend, Oregon the end of July at the NRC races? We’ll be vacationing there during those dates and would enjoy seeing the Team.
