end of team camp…
March 7th, 2008 Posted in NewsBack in Golden now after team camp ended. It was a very busy 10 days. I think I spent more time in a classroom than I ever did in school. We also got in some good team rides. We never really went too hard but rode between 3 and 4 hours everyday, in the beautiful California sunshine! During the camp I got pretty good at testing my blood sugar. I think on average most of us ‘Type 4’s’ tested about 10 times a day. What is type 4? Well type 4 is what you get when you start feeling left out because you don’t actually have any form of diabetes and you want to feel accepted.
I’ve put up some photos from camp so check out the Gallery, and remember to take a look at the Foundation page to purchase some coffee.

Hey Ian,
I was reading the TT1 blog this morning and noticed that some of your main sponsors logos have been photoshop’d off the jerseys in all of the photos…what happened there?

It has to do with the FDA and the fact that ‘Apidra’ is on the jersey’s. Apparently when advertising a drug it has to be done is a very specific way, currently there isn’t approval for it to appear in official team pictures. The team management and the sponsor are working to figure it all out…In the mean time you’ll just have to look here for non-edited photos!
