Team Type 1 finished up Joe Martin with a win in the final stage. It was a good way to end three consecutive stage races. On the way home on Monday, I endured one of the most frustrating travel days I have ever had; the schedule had me arriving in Denver by 10:30am but through a series of delays and missed connections a three hour flight turned into a 16hr travel day!

Not sure if it was the long travel day or just a few back to back races, but I am feeling pretty run down and tired. Kind of wanted to keep the ball rolling and get some more training in but so far each day I find my body pleeding for another rest day. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll as least feel strong enough to get a few hours of fun on the mountain bike.

Mike Creed, my former teammate on Slipstream, has joined Team Type 1 after escaping Rock Racing. I’m extremely excited to have another stand up person, an all around strong rider and close friend join our already solid team.
