No more Vuelta for me, aiming for stars and stripes instead

Although I had been planning and training for it for some time, I wont be making my grand tour debut at the Vuelta Espana this month.  We had to make some changes to the squad to accommodate our sprinters lead out train and unfortunately that meant a big change in my schedule.  However, instead I’m heading to Greenville, SC tomorrow to contest the national championships.  Im really looking forward to a big ride there and will be disappointed if my Garmin-Slipstream team doesnt come away with the stars and stripes jersey.  After that its a quick trip home to CO, where I havent been since January, and off to defend our title at the Tour of Missouri.Cant wait to see the wife and the dog, eat some burritos, and light up some races back home in the USA this month.Thanks for checkin in
