San Dimas
March 28th, 2008 Posted in NewsTeam Type 1 has taken to US soil for the first time in its brief history. We are here in southern California at the three day San Dimas Stage Race. The TT was today, and while nobody on the team went too fast we’ve got five guys within about a minute of the race leader Oscar Sevillia of Rock Racing. I finished 31st, 52 seconds back, not as fast as I’d hoped, but alright for the first race in six weeks. Tomorrow is a tough circuit race and hopefully the strong winds will continue as they will make for an even tougher day. We’ve got some cards to play - a bit of aggressive racing and maybe we can force something.
