San Dimas Stage 2 + 3

March 30th, 2008 Posted in News

We just finished up our first stage race here in the US.  The 2nd stage was a tough circuit race. Rock Racing was able to defend its race lead, and for us, Emile was able to sprint for fourth on the stage while we also put 6 guys in the lead group of 50. Going into todays crit the goal was to be aggressive and put some riders up the road. We did just that getting Chris into a group of three. Rock Racing wasn’t able to close the gap and a symmetrics rider ended up winning the overall. Chris fell off the pace of the first two riders with just a few laps to go. Too bad, he would have moved to 2nd on GC. However, Emile saved the day a bit winning the field sprint and taking 3rd on the stage.

We’ve got a few days hanging out in San Dimas before Redlands starts on Wednesday. Redlands has a couple pretty tough circuit races that should suit the team pretty well.

I bought two coffees. Can I save the postage by just picking it up?
