Slipstream TTT with Timmy on their mind
April 24th, 2008 Posted in NewsNews just in according to Timmy’s wife – The last CT scan on Timmy has revealed that the swelling and bleeding in his brain has increased slightly. Nothing to be too worried about but they will continue to keep a close eye him. He will also likely be having surgery on his clavical as soon as the surgery becomes safe to do. Loren has said that they may be there for a while as tim won’t be walking out the door anytime soon, although he wants to!
Timmy has been reading the kind words so many of you have been sending while he has been awake during the day, thanks so much for the support!

Tim, you are an exceptional athlete. I’ll never forget how generous you were with your time when I first met you in Dieppe, France in 2003, at the Grand Prix des Nations time trial.
Get well as soon as you can. Look forward to seeing you back on the road.
Best wishes to Timmy’s family and thanks Ian for the updates.

Timmy,
Our prayers are with you and your family during this painful and disappointing time. I was checking the day’s results @ 9:30 at night only to find out that my son Corey Collier was one of the three involved in the crash. I saw the pictures and paniced as any mother would do. It’s hard to understand why bad things happen to good people but I know all three of you will come out wiser, stronger, and better than before. We pray you have a speedy recovery and back on your bike soon.
God Bless,
