Thursday morning Timmy update
April 24th, 2008 Posted in NewsThroughout the night the docs have been keeping a close eye on Timmy. He has been awake a bit, and his short term memory is coming back slowly. Apparently, he kept waking up and asking how he crashed during his ski race, its been six or seven years since his last ski race…
This morning he is going to have another neurological exam, followed by another cat scan. Then he is going to have an orthopedic consult regarding his broken clavicle and scapula.
His wife Loren and parents Duane and Debbie are with him in the hospital standing by him.

Hi Timmy,
We are so glad that you’re recovering so nicely and so sorry, of course, that you had the accident! Jasmine sends her best and is thinking of you too.
I had asked the mayor of my hometown to say hi to you but did it too late. I’m from Washington, Georgia, one of your host cities. If you need something, I can have my sister bring you a big bowl of collard greens with fat back and some fried chicken and fried corn tomorrow. Maybe some pig feet and ears….yum! That ought to get you back on your feet in no time at all (smile).
Seriously, we hope and know that you will fully recover. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Let us know if we can do anything to help.
All the best,
The Coopers (Ann, Geoff and Jasmine)

Just because we share the same name, and because I’m a sports fan myself, I’ve followed your career from time to time, and I’m sending my best wishes for a full recovery. It seems you have a lot of people pulling for you, and I think that’s great. Hang in there, Tim.
