Timmy’s post crash condition

April 23rd, 2008 Posted in News

During todays stage Timmy crashed on a bridge at the bottom of a really fast 45mph descent. There was a large 2″ crack in the middle of the road that ‘ate’ timmys wheel and sent him flying off the bike and landing on his head…

Currently he is in ICU at hospital in Athens, GA. He is stable, but has a broken collarbone and scapula and also some hemorrhaging in his head. He is awake and aware, and like I said is currently stable. His parents and wife Loren are already on flights out to GA and will arrive later tonight.

I’ll be sure and post any updates on changes his condition, until then, good thoughts and prayers - send ‘em his way!

    Ian,
Thanks generally for keeping the updates coming. It’s nice to have the inside scoop from afar, but even better to get quick updates on Timmy’s crash.
