Tour de Beauce

I ended up not riding the final race of philly week - the commerce bank championship.  The team brought in a few guys who haven’t been racing much this year and it was my turn to sit one out. Team Type 1 had a solid ride but once again not having a pure sprinter the team turned to the mexican “climber” in the final sprint, Moises pulled off a 7th.

Straight away after philly we jumped in the team cars and started the 10 hour drive up to Quebec for the tour de beauce which started yesterday. Beamon’s Navigator team had won this race the past three years so the pressure is on.  My job for the week has been to attack every climb and then hang on till the finish. The ‘queen’ stage is tomorrow finishing on top of mount megantic. We’ve got one of the strongest teams in the race so tomorrow is the day to make some things happen and put one of our riders in the leaders jersey.
