Tour de Georgia up next…

Both Timmy and I will be heading down south for the Tour de Georgia, which starts Monday April 21st and runs through Sunday April 27th.  Stage 4 will offer a team time trial, while stages 5 and 6 both include some major climbing that both of us are really looking forward to.

It is snowing pretty hard right now in Golden, but hopefully the next week will offer some good weather so I can put in a few hundred more miles in the high mountains.  Mikey got 70 pounds more Jelly Belly jelly beans delivered today – no seriously, 70 pounds of sugar! At this rate I think half the Jelly Belly riders will need to be on a diabetic team next year! I guess team type 1 will need to expand to include type 2 riders. Lastly, on a side note, it’s six months from today till my wedding, yikes, I’ve still got a lot to do.
