February 14th, 2008 Posted in NewsAfter a promising start to the season with a few good days in Malaysia my body turned south. After riding sick for a couple days my body finally had enough and I was forced to pull out. It is super frustrating after a winter of hard training and focus to fly around the world for a race only to get sick. Not exactly the way I wanted to start the season, but at least I got 1000km of racing in the legs. I’m resting up before heading home for a week and then it’s off to training camp for a week, from February 25th till March 5th.

Nice work in Malaysia, it must be tough going from winter training to the hot humidity and race at a level like that.
