Tour de Langkawi stage 1

We finished of the first stage with cj posting 2nd place in the sprint finish, always the worst place to end up as a sprinter. But I know cj has a win in him this week.
Not too eventful today, just cruisy on the highway, but tomorrow starts out with a solid climb right at the start that will be a good launching point for a breakaway.

Our team is kinda funny right now because for once all the staff is injured and the riders are healthy! Knock on wood. Johnny, our director, is nursing a broken heel, and our doctor is nursing broken ribs from a motorcycle crash as well as a new case of food poisoning. Picked the wrong item in the Chinese buffet yesterday I think.
the yam or sweet corn ice cream looked particularly good. I also saw in the store yesterday dried squid chips and dried shredded octopus. We get normal food with the race of course but I’m still glad we have a pile of cliff bars on hand.
