Training away
December 8th, 2008 Posted in NewsThis time of year with the bike nothing ever seems right. I always am afraid that I am too fit and need to relax while at the same time am worried that I am way behind and training camp or the first race will be a disaster. The same goes for the weather; usually if we are lucky enough to get a warm day the wind is blowing 30+ mph. Personally, I prefer just a normal winter 38′ day with no wind, but unfortunately I don’t get to choose the weather. Yesterday the weather was perfect! low 60′s and no wind! But I was back to 2nd guessing myself as I was getting throttled by some local elite riders on a small group ride. The truth is however that you just need to believe in and trust yourself. A month till camp and 8 or 10 weeks till tour of langkawi or tour of california depending on where the ’09 season will start and I’m sure it will all work out!
Timmy and I have just dropped off a few items with the pros closet for the Just Go Harder Foundation. We’ve got a signed Garmin jersey, some great High Road/Columbia items and a handful of other things that I know you want! As always 100% goes back to the foundation.
