Training in Sydney

I’ve spent the past week in Sydney training with my teammates Christian and CJ. We’ve had it pretty good as CJs mom rescued us from our dingy hotel and invited us to stay at their house for the week. Debby has really taken care of us and we’ve been enjoying some tasty home cooking and a really comfortable house. Thanks Debby and CJ!!
CJ has been showing us around his old stomping grounds in Sydney taking us on some good training rides and a couple of criterium races, both of which he won! We did one the other night that was pretty cool. It was on a long twisty circuit, and our category started a few min behind the others so the whole field had to team time trial to catch the others before the race would start for good. It was hard, as it was narrow, bumpy, and crosswindy. Off course a massive crash ensued in the final lap but the 3 of us escaped unscathed luckily. Were off to the tour de langkawi in Malaysia tomorrow. Looking forward to it!
