Hangin out at the fabulous beach town of lloret de mar with a bunch of sun burned and overfed German tourists awaiting the prologue tomorrow afternoon. Today I actually rode to the race hotel from my house…that was a nice change from taxis and airplanes and airports the day before a race! Didn’t even break up my rhythm! I love it.
Last week a few of us checked out the 3rd stage to la pobla de lillet. It turned into an epic as we got a bit lost despite being sponsored by a gps company (pilot error) and we ended up riding nearly 7 hours. With the drive to and from I ended up in my bike shorts for 11 hours. Good times eh? Nothing an Asian food buffet couldn’t fix at the end of the day ha ha. Mmmmm.
